Cypress would be a good one.

I'm just glad it isn't going down the alphanumeric toilet.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I kind of like the "Subaru Ascent".

If you ask us, Venterra (a portemanteau of the Latin words for ‘wind’ and ‘earth,’ we suppose) rolls off the tongue easily enough, as does the alliterative Cypress. Whether you like these ideas or not, at least they’re actual names, and not alphanumeric BS.
^^ insert word

Lineup:
Impreza (weird)
Crosstrek
Forester
Legacy
Outback
WRX
STi

I think Ascent would fit in, but I would steer clear of weird names like Impreza.  I don't care what it means in the native tongue, words that are hard to pronounce don't work well with buyers.

I like Impreza, in the same way I think Elantra and Altima are good car names, even if they're not actual words.

Legacy and Outback are really good car names.  Forester is good.  Crosstrek ain't bad.  WRX and STi are functional, and support the idea of the products well.  Impreza is off for the North American market - not unlike Toyota's bunch of Japanese-oriented names.
