Premium for the Hellcat sure is steep.  MSRP is $10k more than the Mustang GT350.  The Challenger 392 might be the "sensible" option.

Oh, but stop the presses.  Doesn't this seem like a good value?

Seems like a good deal, I'm in Ottawa... lets take it for test drive  :rofl2:

Oh I agree.  The sheer insanity of the Hellcat is what draws me to it.

But $93k after tax is a lot of cheddah, no?
Yeah....but for $93k what else is out there akin to trying to ride a sabre tooth tiger with a habbanero pepper shoved up its pooper??

I have to say that I would love to have a Hellcat Charger as a daily driver, why, because madness. The Charger/Challenger were never meant to be sports cars, when you weigh as much as a 1/2 ton truck, kind of hard to boogie around Laguna Seca double time, but as a comfortable, good looking, amazing sounding commuter car that can erupt like a thermonuclear device, yes please and thank you!!!

Same.  Can haul the whole family and good load of groceries inside of Charger, and at great speed. LOL.

It is IMO.  For $93k, there are a lot of other cars I would look at.  But I don't think any of them will offer the sheer insanity that the Hellcat does.

you should have taken the S i had on my lot AP! had the same car as that one, but 25km... for 26950... guy just drove it away last night.

hell, have an AWD S package for 31900 with 25km too....

and while I agree on the test drives, save the hellcat for last.. you might decide the others are fine... or if they leave you wanting more, you do a deal up on the hellcat subject to test drive. bam.. done.

...that would be if i had any other challengers on my lot to drive at all....
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Lol.  I would probably consider it.  But I can't fathom spending that kind of money.  I usually let the first buyer take the hit for vehicles in that snack bracket.  Here's a great example:

2006 Mercedes Benz E320 CDI - $75,450 + PDI + Tax, etc. brand new in 2006.  Bought in 2013, with 103k kms for $17,500.00.  But even if it's bought about 3-4 years used, it's half the price of new.

I'm waiting for when I can buy 2012+ Nissan GT-R Black Editions for around the $50k mark.

So I watched a MT video review of the Challenger Hellcat - and still think it's just a wonderfully lunatic choice.  But.... I can't say I love that obnoxious supercharger whine that seems to pierce right through the awesome V8 rumble like some kind of demonic dentist's drill.  :-X
