What's the reliability like? I'm super scared of FGC but a used manual transmission version interests me a lot (more than it should)

I should do a write-up someday, but the cole's notes is that we've had it a bit over 2 years and replaced the steering rack, an HVAC fan and 2 wheel bearings.  It's presently telling me my turning lamps are not working and warning chimes no longer chime, but other than that I'm happy with it.   Great winter beater.
In the early years you could only get the manual with the V6.

A write up would be nice to read. I am curious to know in detail how much it cost to replace each of those parts and the labor involved. And I also drove the V8 model and yes it sounds very nice!!! :D

Thanks, my wife thinks it's a bit boy-racer for her taste, and given that it's her car, it was kind of her to "relent" to my choice of new rims.

To be honest, I don't like the dark wheels either.  I think they look better silver.  I think maybe black chrome would have looked OK though.  Or maybe something more graphite?

But to each his own.

It's clean and looks good.  I just don't like the dark rims.  That's all.

It's been nice out this week!

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

^Badass!

Do you not drive an F150? That's going to cause a bit of confusion.  ;D
