Me and the boy will be watching TOS Galileo 7 and Mirror Mirror tonight which IMO are the best episodes of Spock. LLAP

Did you enjoy the the two eps?  They are excellent choices.  However, I would add a few more.  Many of them show Spock as Kirk's foil as one would expect but still give him the chance to shine as the voice of reason or compassion:
-  the city on the edge of forever
-  a piece of the action

In others, he is the central character or has a more central role:
-  amok time
-  all our yesterdays
-  the menagerie (parts 1 & 2)
-  this side of paradise

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum.    -    John Nada (played by Roddy Piper) in "They Live"

never really a surprise when people in their 80's+ pass, but can just hope that he was as happy as can be and left nothing undone.

from all i had read, he was a pretty good guy (as opposed to some others on the show)... while he was lifelong typecast, at least he got to branch out with some voice-over work... growing up with transformers, i'm sure that was my first nimoy experience...

enjoy exporing whatever is next spock!

He took stab at a singing career as well...

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

 >:( Yes, Captain Jerk. To his credit he has a major charitable commitment for the Red Cross on that day. Spock would approve.

Shatner made an estimated $600M from stock options - write a massive cheque and go to the service.

Best to just follow the Klingon rite

The Klingon death ritual was a Klingon rite performed during, or directly following, the death of a warrior.

The Ritual involved opening and staring into the eyes of the dying individual, then bellowing loudly at the sky. The latter served as a warning to the dead (presumably in Sto-vo-kor): "Beware, a Klingon warrior is about to arrive".

Once the Ritual was completed, the body was unceremoniously discarded in whatever manner was most convenient. It was considered to be "only an empty shell" which should be treated as such. (TNG: "Heart of Glory")
