I honestly am not sure how people get their numbers this way, but seeing as your car is a pretty common one, I'd just use autotrader prices to gauge a baseline price.

It completely depends on the type of driving I do. In stop and go during my commute outside of winter I can get 5.8l/100km if I don't drive too fast. I don't try to hypermile but I do try to crawl on electric when I can. 6.5l/100km is probably more typical of my commute when there's less crawling. The torque is too nice to not use!

Amazingly I managed 4.8l/100km on one leg of a journey around Vermont this year and that included driving up and down some steep hills.
