I fired all my APDS and was down to 8 HESH shells. I would have used them too if the Chieftain reloaded faster.

I played a few games in my Iowa post patch. The Iowa has finally received her quad Bofors mounts (replacing the duals that were originally there). I had a 100 AA rating before the patch, and it still says 100 post-patch, but believe me when I say her AA is more powerful. The last game I played had a tier IX CV targeting me with his bombers. Our friendly CV kept his fighter over me, but there was no way he could defend me from all the planes. Anyway, NOT. A. SINGLE. PLANE. made it in to drop their load on me. I shot down any plane that the fighter didn't first take care of. 19 in all over the course of the match.

Iowa is so OP now post patch. She finally does 33 kts (compared to 31 kts pre-patch) and officially has the most powerful AA in the game (exceeding even that of Montana). Her secondaries (those 10 turrets with twin 127 guns) even got a 1.2km buff to 6.2km range.

The Chief is pretty tough. I like it. I wish it was more mobile, but that's the trade-off I guess.

I got the Challenger 1 on the weekend. I need more xp to get the top engine. It's a slug without it, so I haven't played it yet.

That was my first or second game in it and yeah....slow as molasses. My teammates were angry that my MBT couldn't keep up with their 100km/h scout vehicles

Yeah, even compared to the T72 and M60E3, the Chieftan is pretty slow. It doesn't get much better with the top engine either. Lots of armour though and a good gun.

I just got my first tier X vehicle ever in WOWS/WOT.

The tier X US Destroyer USS Gearing!

So far, she's flipping great. I have a 17-point captain in her, and all the upgrade modules. Concealment is down to 5.9kms, Gun range is 11kms, Gun reload is 2.4s (x6 guns that's 150 rounds per minute!!!), torp acceleration brings my torpedo range down to 13.2kms but speed up to 71knots, with 2x5 torpedo launchers.

She's a great Jack-of-all-Trades. She can slaughter other DD's with her guns (not the Khabarovsk though), harass enemy battleships and cruisers with her ROF, and deal out the mega damage against battleships with her torpedoes.

I'll have the USS Montana within a couple of weeks, too.

^I like the US destroyer line, even with their rainbow arcs. The Japanese destroyer torpedos are funny as hell, though I tend to live up to the IJN Kamikaze's name fairly frequently.

I play WoWS and AW every once in a while, mostly against bots. Just less venom in that mode.
