More like lack of training or the valets just can't drive.  There are lots of tight parking lots in Europe and Asia and people still able to get their cars in and out without problem.

There are lots of tight parking lots in Europe and Asia and people still able to get their cars in and out without problem.

The other side of the equation is smaller cars.

Anyways I'm sure the story was made up to highlight that such a standard condition for valet parking does not absolve a business from damage liability.
