That's because they've got Ferrari engines in them. Noticed that there is a new Maserati dealer going in near Budds Bob where you could get it serviced. ;D

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

I've never seen the roads so bad.  Along with the holes, some parts of the road have shifted 3"-4" higher due to the frost.

That is nothing new in a normal Canadian winter with frost penetration of 4-5' . The fun part is in the spring when the frost melts and it starts to settle. I have seen logging roads swell as much as two feet. My driveway has lifted 25mm, good thing I requested better reinforcing mesh and tighter spacing on the saw cuts to avoid cracking

the roads around here are actually the best they've ever been since I can remember - at this time of year.

Usually it's a big game trying to avoid massive pot holes all over the place.   But this winter we didn't really see a freeze / thaw cycle.    It's just been bloody record cold since the end of January.

So true!!   Was thinking this the other day but couldn't think why.

For whatever reason I've been thinking about the Civic Si sedan. The Mini hasn't been as reliable as I would have liked and I'm thinking about replacing it. But the interior seems cheap. And Danielle doesn't really like it either. But it's the kind of car I would get for the right price (read: low lease payment).

Would be a very good replacement for the Mini, (is it approaching 63,000 km yet? :) ). Might as well get as much residual out of the Mini as you can, since you want to get rid of it. Another choice could matching GTIs!!

Mini has nearly 140k on it.

Would love to add a new Golf Sportwagon to the garage but my problem is I would want a fairly loaded one which approaches the price of the GTI.

Sounds like you should go back to Mazda!  ;)

Noticed that too. In general the roads are still garbage, but a big improvement over this time last year.

A CX-3 is a good alternative to a Wagon.
