Still starts at thousands more than any other minivan. Once the Grand Caravan goes away they'll have to get even cheaper, presumably.

It may be expensive but after seeing one on the road the other day for the first time....I think its one heck of a good looker.

yeah, i got the email from the higher ups yesterday that we can order some more basic models... nice to have them... now we'll have to see if they can hold their own being similarly priced and similarly equipped as the import big boys...

i'm still up in the air without strong incentives. had two customers yesterday wanting to work out leases on upper mid-levels (i guess that would be closer to the top now that the lower levels are available)... came to 750 after taxes a month... that is not going to make em fly off the shelves.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

I came here to say the same thing. Its the only minivan that has ever made me do a double take. Great looking car.
Lighten up Francis.....

It's going to be around for a while. July 2019 according to this article: http://windsorstar.com/business/local-business/fca-to-axe-pacifica-based-crossover-caravan-production-runs-until-mid-2019

I was at the dealer on Friday picking up some DEF for my GC & saw a couple on the lot, they are a good looking van, but I don't think that's gonna be enough to move them out the door.

FCA sales in Canada declined 18% in September...some blame has been given to the currency, but I think it might be because FCA has stopped their practice of selling cars to dealers...

its still $7,750 more than the MSRP for the 2017 Grand Caravan CVP (which they are giving $6100 off at present).

Base MSRP for the competition:

2016 Odyssey - $30,790
2017 Sienna - $33,420
2017 Sedona - $27,995

a MSRP of $37,995 is going to be a tough sell against its competitors unless there is substantial cash discounts or its got lots of content/features in comparison.

There's no denying that the Pacifica is great looking vehicle but I bet the Town and Country would outsell it (if still available) The 2008 onward design was just the ticket for most of those who wanted a van. When I look around I can't think of much that I would trade for other than a GC in the price range. Anything in fact.

This needs dollars on the hood. The argument that it's got more feature content than an Odyssey doesn't hold water, even though it is true.

I have seen exactly 1 Pacifica on the road.

The new Kia Sedona is definitely a hit. Those things are everywhere.

Absolutely! FCA must be on some sort of meds to assume that people would be willing to overpay for a van vs competition. I bet we will see some awesome used deals on these....won't take long.
