Over 75 per cent of an automobile is recyclable, and in Europe and Japan, they're aiming for 95 per cent.

Some interesting examples of what parts are made from recycled materials, and they formerly were! The good news is each year more and more will be recyclable. This also shows the difficulties/intricancies that manufacturers go through to design and produce an automobile.
