on augusta street... it's my go-to for some tasty beverages.

small pubs, but some nice beers, decent little menus... only negative is the amount of hipsters!

as a couple examples...

i tend to be quite inebriated by the time i get there... but i seem to recall the beers being extra tasty.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

yep... that one. shawn and eds... or the shed.... whatever.

interesting set-up with the "garage" opening up to allow food trucks to come inside... i like that everything is out in the open... but yeah, the beer is just meh. better to go down the road to the cactus where they have 24 taps with some tasty things available (including at least one shed brew)

on a side note... in dundas and don't tell me?! *sniff*

Ya, it looked hopeful with the way it was setup. Oh well.

I didn't realize you were in Dundas or very close by, thought you were further away. I'm down there every now and then, next time I'll let you know and we can grab a pint together.

When Canuck was here, I took him to Ribeye Jacks in Burlington (Harvester & Walkers Line), 15 min from Hamilton. They have a pretty good selection, great food, obviously the steaks, and live music on weekends.  Prices are strangely low for Burlington....

whereabouts in hamilton will you be? if it's downtown, then my suggestion works, but you could be somewhere else entirely... in the hammer, it used to be, "go to hess st!" as an automatic... but it has turned into a club area now, with the only pubs not being known for beer selection.

hmmm... if its the victoria i'm thinking, it's more stoney creek... still not that far to go into town, but you can go towards niagara and hit some others too... hamilton is easiest though. you are only a couple exits from my work.

Victoria is just a few blocks from downtown. It intersects Main by the Canadian Tire.

Awesome news.

So, what you are saying is that you are one step closer to being able to ship beer to Ontario!  Yay.

Congratulations! How much capacity are you hoping for with your new set-up? Are you keeping your nanobrewery equipment for recipe development and small batches? I've been dreaming of getting myself an electric brewing set-up like yours.
