Congrats on the purchase!  For me, that's easily the best colour IS available.  Happy motoring.

Best colour they offer that car in imo.  I love it.

Great car.  Amazing car.  The 3.5L D4S is fantastic.  The AWD works great.  A close friend of mine has an F-Sport AWD and I fell in love within two minutes of driving it.

Though keep in mind that the car will easily last 400K - so hopefully you won't tire of it!

Yes. I love the smooth engine. It also sounds 1000 times better than my 328i four banger. I really like the sound of the V6 under full throttle.

Love the colour too. Wasn't sure at first. Maybe too flashy but it looks amazing in the sun.
My wife wanted me to buy this one.

You can't go wrong. Any color is  Any plans for light modding?  Exhaust maybe?

Thinking of modding but I'm  leasing so don't want to spend too much on a car that may go back.   A nice exhaust would be cool though.

My IS350 sounded  with an intake and exhaust.  Only 2 mods I ever did.  And easily reversible.

Congrats on the new rig.  Very nice color.  I hope it brings you many years of driving pleasure.  What sold you on the Lexus over the rivals?  With you leasing I'm guessing reliability isn't the biggest selling point.

P.S. Why isn't this in the show and shine thread?

I was just going to ask the same thing.  Shall I move it, RSX?   :)  Congrats on your beautiful ride.

Agreed on this being on the wrong section lol. I thought it was going to be a thread on thinking about buying one, but you already did!

Congrats on the new ride. Love the bold colour choice too!

You can't, Brig will have to move it for you.  And I'd pass on the mods - particularly since it's a lease.

And count me in as another huge fan of the colour.  :skid:

Don't listen to Jaeger.  He's not much fun.   ;D

Soft mods like a bolt on exhaust (4 bolts IIRC) are just fine.  And improve the driving experience.

Let's hear it for the Mod Squad!  Awesome car my man!  Agreed that the BMW 4-bangers ain't got much soul!  Mine ('13 BMW 320i) sounds like a diesel.

To be honest I really like the style of the car. My current BMW 328i interior was pretty low rent. Leather not as soft and just plain boring on the inside.  I liked the linear feeling of a NA engine and thought I change would be nice. To be honest I've haven't bought from the same manufacturer yet. I guess civic and  RSX are both Hondas.
Civic
RSX
Highlander
Volvo
VW
BMW
Lexus

I really like change. It's cool to try something different. We're only here for a short while.

I didn't think the IS350 an "old persons car" at all.  The chassis has tons of grip, the steering is good, and the limits of the car are very high.  I found it entertaining to drive - especially the V-6 - it's a very nice engine.  People grouse about it being old, but so what?  It was ahead of it's time when it was new and it's still a solid plant with great technology.  The power delivery is terrific.

True.  And it would be even better if Lexus would add a couple of snails to it.  Or make a new 3.0L version with a couple of snails.

Nah - in no time at all a sweet normally aspirated engine will be a thing of the past - I hope they stick around as long as possible - turbo options will be (and already are) literally everywhere.
