Things seen in the neighborhood
« on: June 20, 2016, 03:29:37 pm »
There's a house I walk the PA past on occasion. An unassuming little wood framed bungalow in the village but with a lot worth likely in excess of a $1M and sandwiched between other larger homes dwarfing it.
Anyways, the owner has a 1971 Lotus Super 7 in the drive most days except for the Winter months. There was a time that there was also Maserati Sedan of some sort parked behind it. Lately though I think he (she?) has replaced it with a Mini Cooper on some recent vintage resplendent with 'Union Jack' painted mirrors..
On my walk Sunday though there was a trailer parked in front of the house. Nobody was around for me to talk with but all the doors of the trailer were open.
Anyone know what it is?

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

^ That reminded me that one of the guys around the corner from me has a Yenko Chevelle "tribute". I spoke with him briefly, it's a pretty convincing looking and sounding facsimile.
I didn't have my phone with me to get a picture.

Looks a lot like this guy:

Damn, now I'm really confused. If I see something cool while I'm on my way to work, and it's the weekend, and I'm still in my neighborhood, where the heck am I going to post about it? ???

And why is a thread full of car pics in the OT section. ???

Not trying to confuse Man - post anything you come across cool in your hood. Yes, so far just cars but give it a week or so.

Driver hit the gas instead of the brake.  Went through a fence, then hit a parked car.  No injuries.  The tire track in the second photo says "hard on the gas" to me.
