The Romans conqoured a massive empire with probably fewer horses than that. The British Empire was formed in it's early years by the use of something like the same number of single  'one HP' transporting units and the inland navy. We hand over the 750 keys for a private hour in bed. Make that 15 minutes...hmm...maybe around the block.

so much effort into making the car a truely beautiful, flashy driving machine...and then they throw a sewer grate on the front.   >:(

Decadent...what does that mean in a car review? Sounds like some kind of social commentary.

I don't mind the sewer grate grille so much as that Nike trade mark looking check mark gouge in the side, which looks even worse than the new Kia Forte's gouged side to my eyes.  I hope this sculptured look is just a passing fancy.  A sports car with this much muscle power, handling and masterful chassis dynamics should at least look the part.

...at least the 'gouge' in the side is functional (downward force) in the Ferrari.

I agree.  This thing is fugly.  There is no comparison to the 458 which is just gorgeous.  I used to see one of those behind the glass at the Ferrari dealership on Avenue road (Toronto) every time I jogged by and had to stop a few times just to take in the beauty of this art form.  This thing doesn't do it for me.  I would get the Maserati over this and I don't care that it has 250 less horsepower.  We can all dream.

Decadent - yes, with boring V12...Otherwise this one is the most contemporary Ferrari built recently. Even the Ferrari fans aren't comfortable with outside design...I adore it!

For me it's the F12's rear that I can't quite reconcile, where the diffuser meets the rear deck. Yikes. Thong wedgies look hot on Brazilian women - not so much on GT cars.

i actually like the look of this car the best amongst all recent Ferraris..  including the stupid laFerrari and 458.    sure, i would rock those, if you gave me one, but purely for look i like this one the best.

front engine V12 Ferrari's are classics.   :)
