It will probably share the Fe platform, hopefully the stretched one too. They have better NVH than the Sorento based on my test drives.

That is EXACTLY what I thought when I saw the pictures.  Just put on some sort of "outside-view" camera on the LCD monitor, and make it a completely opaque vehicular pod  >:(

Didn't they do an update recently on the new Sante Fe platform ?!? Or was that update not as thorough as we were lead to believe ?  ???

my joke / point though is that I'm thinking some manufacturers may be looking at "design" over function slightly more than usual due to all the new safety technology now available. 

I know nobody here would do it, but how many average driver with blind side detection no longer do shoulder checks???
