I saw an add just recently on the iM and there was no mention of Scion just Toyota, so I guess the transmission is slowly taking place.

They are also changing the model names.  FRS will be renamed 86.

The Scion FR-S in the U.S. market will now be the Toyota 86, as the two-door coupe is known in Asia, South America and Australia.

Meanwhile the subcompact iA sedan -- built by Mazda -- will be called the Toyota Yaris iA and the compact iM hatchback will be known as the Corolla iM when the vehicles go on sale for the 2017 model year.

Going forward, Toyota plans to report the sales volumes of normal Corolla and Corolla iM together as a single unit, as it will for the Yaris and Yaris iA.

(the iA is already the Yaris sedan in Canada, so I wonder if that will change?)

It'll likely still be the Yaris here, but I hope the iM becomes the new Matrix.

Good riddance. They had potential when they first started up in the US in 2004. The original xB was great. Then they started selling cars that should've been badged Toyota and came to Canada 6 years too late.
