Why wouldn't the author reset the fuel economy guage? Maybe the guy that drove the car last had it to the boards the whole time.
I borrowed a friends Ecoboost F150 2 weekends ago and when I got in it it was reading 19L/100kms - by the time I returned it it was down to 18L/100kms (I only drove it about 15kms). I asked my buddy's wife (its "her" vehicle) and she said my buddy took it to hockey the night before. He's usually driving his 06 TB SS - and he drives that thing like its got a throttle switch - not a progressive pedal.
About the car itself though - I'm not really sold on the styling... I think they need to do something more drastic with it - still reminds me of the "old man's" Buick. Maybe do something like a retro-grand national styling theme or something.
