The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 will deliver more power, more torque and improved fuel efficiency, thanks in part to a trio of all-new EcoTec3 engines designed specifically for the needs of full-size truck customers.

Hmmmm, might have to go try out a ecotec 5.3 and see what its all about. I mean with the "efficiency" of the Ecoboost, why not get a V8  ;D

To me this is the most interesting news about the new generation GMs.

Agreed, save the turbo's for diesel engines, where they spin a heck of a lot less RPM.
