Is here and the prices are not bad.
Only automatic transmission. This is so wrong but I guess they will sell more this way.

Lots of talk about lack of center armrest. Many thought it was just an oversight in pre-production models but pictures here confirm no armrest. That sucks.  >:(
If you want more in life you have to make an effort.

It looks nice  8) Prefer the appearance of this over the Honda HRV.

I think mini CUVs are replacing compact sedans as the "default" car.

I was thinking the lack of armrest was due to this thing being really really tiny, but looking at the specs its 168in long which is the same as a Golf. So this is confusing.

That said I never use center armrest really....

Why is that the lack of armrest seems to be the problem and not the fact that it only comes with Automatic Transmission?

There's supposed to be a dealer add on option for the arm rest.

I luuuv having a centre arm rest. Am used to having one. I'd spring for the dealer installed one if I bought this car.

Arm rests don't agree with my elbow nerve. I appreciated the FJ did not have it. All you armrest lover and dash stroker types should pay for your toys  ;D

Took one for a quick test drive today and didn't miss the armrest. It was the mid level GS and a fun drive. Here's the 30 second road test summary-  power was fine (adequate) but nothing more, transmission and how it worked with the engine was so-so (it had a sport mode but not particularly pleasant) as it seemed slow to upshift/downshift and it intruded into the driving experience, Toyota does a much better job mating engine/transmission. Handling however was exceptional and definitely one of THE strong points of the car - great fun. Tried starts on some gravel surface and the AWD worked seamlessly.

Interior was very nice indeed , some touches of red and pleasant surfaces, good seating position plus all controls readily at hand.  The touch display worked fine and easy to learn (much better than the Dodge Charger rental that I recently drove ) and even sight lines were reasonable. A couple of weakness one was I didn't see any storage cubby holes other than the cupholders and glovebox and secondly was the bar type tachometer to the left of the center speedo- definitely hard to read (the GT fixes this by putting the tach front and center). Back seats were a bit tight but this is a compact SUV so nothing unexpected  and the dual level storage in the rear was a nice touch.

Did I mention how well it handled?

I think the CX3 may have a better drivetrain and exterior styling than Honda's new HRV. But  I must say based on pictures  I have seen the HRV has a much nicer and upscale interior.

https://www.caaquebec.com/en/on-the-road/advice/road-tests/action/show/essai/1743/

The pictures of the CX3's interior reminds me of the disappointment I had with Audi's A3 interior (once again I have only seen pictures). Both are disappointing to my eyes.

One aspect I cannot stand is the screens standing on top of dash like it was stuck on as an afterthought. Not just Mazda guilty of this. They are everywhere.

Blue used to be a so-so car colour - but there sure are some nice ones out there now.  Mazda's is sweet and the one Toyota is using on the IS350 is amazing.
