Cold, strange/unsettled weather today. 10° maximum with gusty winds and intermittent showers/sun.

Returning closer to normal in the lower-mid 20s for the next days beginning tomorrow, sunny. :)

It was in the 30s the last few days. The high pressure has moved on and the temps have moderated. That also allowed the smoke from Alberta to start moving in. Pretty good reminder of the tough spot some Albertans are in.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Weather drove me crazy today.
checked the weather on my phone in the morning....only 10% chance of a shower. Perfect.

My wife starts painting some big cast iron pots we have in the yard, and I start cleaning the garage to take the SLK out.  By the time she's about 3/4 of the way through the pots, and I've got all the other cars out of the garage and about 2 minutes away from starting the SLK it starts raining!

She sticks some umbrellas in the pots, and I scramble to get the (clean) cars back into the garage.

eat lunch

Sun comes back out, so I figure I'll try the cars again....This time I get them all, including the SLK, outside and I start taking some patio crap down from the loft/rafters. As I finish that it starts to spit rain again. I take the SLK for a quick ride and just as I pull into the garage again it downpours.

Sun comes out 10 minutes later, so I wipe down the Sonoma and bring it back inside.

I go visit my mom for Mother's day for about an hour, and then come back....still dry. I pull the TTops off the T/A to clean and lubricate the seals....as soon as I get them off it starts to spit rain. Finish up and put that car away.

Drys up again so I figure I'll do some work on the Firebird (spray more rust proofing in the rocker panels), I get started and the wind picks up, it starts blowing my stuff around making the job more annoying and  dirty than it already it. Annnnd just as I am about 2/3 of the way done.....more rain.

I finally gave up and packed everything up and went inside......now it's bright, sunny and not a single cloud in the sky.....Some days you just can't win  :banghead:

How you know it is May two-four:

a)  Lousy weather ... whoa. whut??  Can this be right??  I've got Tuesday off too.
b) Gas price goes up.  A buck-oh-eight this morning.  At least that is as per usual ...

Same here. Don't think it's rained at all in the last 3 weeks. Grass on the boulevards (and unwatered yards) is almost totally brown. I am ok with it though, I hate rain....I've just been watering my yard every couple days and everything still looks nice and lush.

It's good for me!  Not rushing as much with my lawns!

Mines pretty long, I haven't cut it in at least 2-weeks, but I didn't want to cut it with the heat/drought. It's suppose to cool down starting tomorrow so I'll probably do it this week.

Today, the high reached 32° in Montreal (possibly higher) with a humidex of 41.   :o :o
