Game of Thrones continues its amazing run as the "show that leaves you wanting more".  Excellent cap to the season, especially since it is now "off book" to borrow a phrase.  I haven't read any of the George Martin books but I understand that the series has gone through all the current books and is now in uncharted territory.

The finale was one of the best episodes yet, possibly one of the best episodes of television ever.

I think Wentworth was more of an edge

Game Of Thrones is like Mötley Crüe. So embarrassing you don't know whether to laugh or cry, but entertaining enough that you keep watching.

Game Of Thrones, for me, is easily the best TV series ever made.  This season was off the charts incredible!

Probably shouldn't post spoilers in this thread. Wouldn't hurt to have a GoT thread to discuss the above though.

Looks like there will be two more seasons.
That's good news, as this is my favorite TV show, after Breaking Bad.

No spoilers here, unless you haven't seen the finale.

Why have the old man killed by the kids?
The new maester used the weapons he had:  his little "birds".  (my guess)

What was the green stuff that blew up the temple?
The explosive material was mentioned - and used - before.  The reference was to the former mad king Targaryan, who had the city's underground laced with the stuff, so he could watch the city burn if it turned against him.  Tyrion Lannister used the stuff to defend against the Barathion fleet two or three seasons ago.

Why did they have the servant chase the kid to the green stuff?
Poetic justice and dramatic effect, one supposes.

Stranger Things on Netflix. Derivative of Steven Spielberg's/Stephen King's work but I enjoyed it (so much better than "reality" TV).

Enjoying Marvel's Jessica Jones, grittier than the other Marvel fare.   It's been renewed for a second season.
