Being at the time of year where the longer period of daylight starts to get noticeable, with earlier sunrises and later sunsets.  Love it!  :D

With you on the sunsets.  4:30 pm is just not right.  Better now which allows a bit more light for the return hike.

But, daylight saving time's gotto go.

Spending an afternoon/evening just chatting and hanging out with one of my best friends. Sounds simple, but I rarely get that much human interaction most weeks.

She looks great.  Our vehicles have been a mess for a couple weeks now with the warmer weather.  Anything above -10 and the roads get messy.

Funny you mention that.  Visited a lot this weekend.  A couple came on over Friday night.  Saturday, went to my Dad's in Fort Erie with the kids, drove to all the way to Oakville for supper with the in-laws (like 300km that day). Went to the neighbours two doors down for the evening (with the baby monitor, left the kids at home).  Sunday went to the RV Expo at Hamilton Warplane Heritage Museum to get out of the house for a bit.  While on the Hamilton mountain, ate lunch at my Aunt's and Uncles.  So a lot of visiting, which is rare for me, because it can be tiring with the kids (especially when the wife was working all weekend, still not home yet).

Daughter played a game a week ago Sat (no games last wk due to exams) against the toughest school in the region.  End of first period, her team was up 3-0, then the goalie skated to the bench, said "I don't feel well", and threw up.

They called for volunteers to play net, since their backup goalie wasn't there, my daughter offered, but they all agreed she was more valuable on defence.  So one of the forwards, who plays softball, put on the goalie gear.  In the end, they held on to a 5-4 win, with a girl in net who never played net before, so they're holding on to 1st place, first time this school's been in first place for about 15 years.

That made me happy.

Good that the dealership has to pay but it's really the lawyers that win.  Everyone else still gets screwed  :-\

Glad my wife didn't have to work today (worked all weekend).  The commute to downtown Toronto (60km) would have been brutal with this snow storm.  Would have been a 15 hour day for sure!  On the flip side.  I had to do my side job of snow removal today, so that added 4 hours to my day.  For a total of 9 hours!   Oh well...
