Westworld is really starting to intrigue.

Have not seen this. Is it based on the original early 70's film with Yul Brynner and James Brolin as guests of a high end amusement park?

Yes.  But the twist here is..it's mostly from the point of view of the androids and the staff at the park instead of the visitors like in the movie.

They've taken many ideas/themes from the movie, but as noted, turned it around so we're seeing the synthetic human's view points much more than the guests.

BTW..did anybody notice that when the 2 guys came (and the one guy chose the white hat) that the "Westworld" symbol was different?  Like this part of the story was happening in a different time?

I didn't notice that but there is speculation that William and the Man in Black are the same person.

Netflix has a canadian police show called "under arrest".

The show is both sad and hilarious.  Sometimes hilariously sad.

Seems its mostly from RCMP and edmonton police, circa 90s or early 2000s

Netflix has a canadian police show called "under arrest".

The first arrest in the first episode is one of those hilarious/sad ones.  It's a simple drunk driving tag, and the guy is oblivious to the fact that he's wasted, to the fact that he's been arrested, and then acts like he's being tortured when all the officer does is handcuff him.  He's got to be one of the whinest little btches ever.

I don't know how I've managed to miss this show. Just watched an episode of season 3 and now I'll have to go back to the beginning and watch all of them. Very interesting premise.
