my bad about the 6.4 box...

the mega is still available in heavy duty trucks. just not the 1500 models.

trucks have become near impossible to configure these days... add in multiple transmission options this year and the new 6 cyl. and there will be a large number of people not getting quite what they wanted.

I still wouldnt buy a newer than 07 Ram because of the 6.7. Till they get the issues of cylinders burning up, and turboes, plus the weak trannies, no thank you.
Lighten up Francis.....

The Ram Quad Cab is much smaller than the F150 SuperCrew.  That was key to my decision to go with Ford.  Style wise I prefer the look of the GMs but they too have a smaller cab.
Do you mean the Quad cab or the Club cab? They are different and the Club cab is much more roomy. The quad cab is just an extended cab with regular mounted rear doors instead clam shell style.

Crew Cab, not Club Cab.
You are correct, sir. My bad.
Enjoying the Alberta advantage

I spent significant seat time in all 3 domestics this past summer, and the Ram is far and away my favourite.   The coil suspenders made it ride like a large crossover, especially as noted over broken pavement or railway crossings.  The Fords I found suffer from unsettling axle hop with no load.  The GM was better, but not up to the Dodge.  I didn't like the Ford's dash on the XTR's I drove, ergonomics just seemed "not right".

As an aside, I saw a 2013 Ram yesterday with the air suspension, and it looks pretty cool in full low.  Looked like a 2wd truck by ride height.
