dundas the town is why the road is called dundas to all those torontonian cotu types! let all those people know what road to take to get them to the nicest town around!

... wouldn't suggest using that as the most efficient way to get there anymore.... but would eventually get the job done!

so this ad... i have had:
 -2 people who wanted a/c
 -1 scammer
-2 people to sell me their product to sell my car

very helpful! and this on the 3rd lowest priced '14 unlimited within 500kms (out of 117)...
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Why not? I wouldn't buy one without it either.

yeah, when i bought it i would have liked the a/c... but it wasn't enough to make me not buy it considering the cost savings (and availability)... so i understand somewhat.

i had one day where i missed the a/c... otherwise, it was no big deal this past summer... if the sun was out, my roof was down... wouldn't have used the a/c anyway.

iced coffee or slushie is my saviour!

my first car was a convertible.. it had a/c, but my dad always gave me crap if i used it with the roof down... likened it to keeping the fridge door open. so i got used to roof down, no a/c on.

the four door just made it at least a passable second family car... a lot easier to convince the wife of when it can take multiple car seats and such in case her car is down for some reason. back seat is used about <5% of the time. and that's for my friends on the way to hockey or golf... screw them if they complain about no ac.

anywho... gonna go ahead with the new one... i'll do a thread i suppose... but seems silly since it will be the same car!

Yeah, the wastefulness and the fact that the A/C compressor would be working it's butt off to cool the car down for the entire trip would bug me. In the SLK it's either top down enjoying the heat, or if it's too hot top up and A/C on. The best time for top down driving IMO is at dusk or dark.

yeah, it's what i'm doing. and they'll stretch for me... but then i have a car on my lot that either i have to watch get sold nest week for three grand more than i got, have it sit here for 6 months and not sell, or have to deal with low ballers all day...

i'm getting >25k trade... so it's good... but they'll do an "in-out" deal for me, so i can sell it privately and still trade it in to save taxes.... so as long as i sell it for more than i'm getting, i'm doing better...

haha! sure thing!

just sold my twin with auto... so much easier to sell something you love yourself....

unfortunately, it means there will be more and more of these packages around... kind of liked being one of a small few.

Congrats!!
Yes!  Did you get that same grey colour as with your old one?  I really really like that model Jeep.  I'll never get one myself, but I don't mind living vicariously through you.  ;)

not much to show and shine really... i'll try and order/install the grill guard right away and get the tow hooks done...

even my wife who sees it every day would hardly notice the difference. same model, same colour, same wheels, etc. so whatever.

now i get to start over on kms/warranty/sirius subscription with one that had no door issue, has both tops, a/c, the 28 gig touch screen radio, and the trailer tow on a year newer vehicle...

for a bit more than the cost of doing just the hard top aftermarket on my last one. i'm happy. if i had found a buyer for mine, it would have been even better, but you can't have it all.
