I love the aesthetic tweeks that the IPL treatment brings to Infiniti products, but I just wish that there were more of a discernable performance upgrade to give the "P" in IPL a bit more meaning.  Describing their approach to performance tuning as taking "baby steps" is pretty fair - but they risk diluting the marketing potential of the premium performance designation right out of the gate.  Guys buying AMG, M, S, and F-designated cars know they are getting a ride that brings a whole lot more to the table than big wheels and fancy leather.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Its a good looking car and I imagine the VQ blowing through some free flowing exhaust sounds fantastic.....however, $70K!!!! Crikey, a Mustang GT or, I hate to say it  :hurl: , the Camaro SS would eat this thing for breakfast performance wise while cost $20K+ less.
Lighten up Francis.....

It's hard to compare the G vert with the Mustang and Camaro though as they are different types of vehicles.  I can't imagine too many people cross shopping the vert G with a Mustang or Camaro.  The G vert would be more comparable to the 335is cabrio.......which starts at over $75.  The IPL G vert comes fully loaded.  Just sayin'.    :)

But $70K....whats the new Shelby GT500 worth?? Meh, a convertible is a convertible is a convertible, Id rather take a really good looking one with lots of power......the fact that a 3 Series costs over $75K and isnt an M really disgusts me.

The M3 cabrio starts at $82k.

At a list of $58,400 the G37S M6 Manual transmission convertible offers better value than the IPL version. For an additional ~$9K they should've dropped a supercharger into the M6 and been done with it. You can't even get a manual transmission in the IPL version of the car.
So far, the IPL version of this car, coupe or convertible has been a huge fail.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

:iagree: $10K for lowering springs, exhaust and a cold air intake??? thats a bit steep and the fact thats you can only get it with a slushbox.........I dont think they are going to sell a lot of these, at all.

I agree, not worth the extra bucks. Need to make a big step like RS, M, and AMG models.

I agree.  I wonder what the sales numbers are for vert G compared to the IPL vert G?  I suspect that both are pretty low.

I hope they have enough suckers that buy the IPL cars...so they can recoup the cost for hiring F1 RedBull, Sebastian Vettel, and Chris Webber... ;)
