On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Have a friend with one, can't wait till summer.  Gotta try this.

The old one was fast, it just hits you unexpectedly.

I know.  I need more sound.  I would miss the engine sound terribly.

Some high end cars are now equipped with fake engine/exhaust noise played through the speakers.  Presumably you could get an MP3 engine sound track and play it as loud as you need, though it would lack the coordinated timing of a factory setup.  Might you need a fake engine starter crank sticking out of the front end also?  ;D Time to move with the times.
And some cretins think I hate cars.

You don't miss it on the highway or around town.  Just when you step on it.

Don't miss the sound at all.

The jet engine whine of my Smart ED under max acceleration is interesting and satisfying.

The only car I've owned or driven that made me smile more was my '96 Camaro Z28.
My wife said it "sounded meaner than any other car" she'd ever known.

I've always thrashed my cars, so having a commuter car that shoots away from a light without any effort is fun and causes no drama, and I know I can do it light after light after light and have no problems with gears, clutch or all those other old things that used to fail on the gas cars I used to drive.

Maybe a repro of the Enterprise going to warp sound.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!
