The Porsche is sold. Now he plans on selling the Wrangler since it doesn't work well for carting around both his 3 children AND clients.
He also wants to go to a 2-car garage rather than the 3. With the Wrangler sale, RIP manual transmissions for yet another enthusiast. He doesn't want the next one to be stick even if it is available.
His wife still has the 2016 Yukon Denali.
The Porsche/Wrangler replacement needs to haul hockey gear and 5 passengers.
He really liked the S7, but it comes with only 4 seats. The A7 TDI would have been great, but, y'know, diesel.
The standard A7 is really nice and I'm still steering him that way. Lots of other options were floated, but none of them exciting. The Cayenne is the logical choice, but eww... And the other boss has a Cayenne GTS.
Poor guy is really regretting selling the Porsche.
