I bought some yellow 9006 LEDs.  CREE LEDs, 40 watts.  The base has a huge heatsink and a fan on it.  Supposed to be ~3000 lumens.  Put them in as fogs.  They look really good, really yellow.  25,000 hours run time allegedly.  But why only a 2 year warranty then?

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

that looks bright... i don't think i want to be driving opposite you anytime soon! be interesting to see how long they last... i find so many things lately have ridiculous warranties with the expectation that no one will make the claims.

so today, i actually did something unexpected... put the Willy's up for sale again!! ha! that dealership employee deal is on again... not as good as when i got it the last couple times, but still good... only makes sense if i sell it privately and do a courtesy trade though. I am in no rush whatsoever though since i can't get another anvil one... so now the choices i have are rhino, tank, or mojave sand... we'll see what happens.

Love the yellow fogs Ron - old school cool.

I love them, too, but only if they're actual fog lights.

Proper fog lights are all about the beam pattern and cutoff, not so much about the colour.

Yep.  They don't extend very far in front of the car at all...and much more to the sides.

I did a check too....I went down the road and drove towards my LS.  They don't blind in the least because the sit so low and because of the beam pattern.

I used the Highlander today to go buy the kid a mountain bike.  She has a hipster town bike that she rides around, but no mountain bike.

This is a somewhat selfish purchase on my part, as she can now come biking with me in the mountains and on the local trails.

Drove it to the bike shop.  It's a Toyota.  It's a rare, rare day that anything happens to it other than being driven somewhere.

:fiver: We need more pics from you....

Haven't done much car stuff recently. I did drive the 96 Bird to Oshawa and back yesterday....That trip, plus two trips to work and back totaled almost 500kms, of which the car average 8.9L/100kms. Not bad for a 20 year old 3.8  :D

Today I discovered that the V60 has no door lock lever. Electric only. The regular handle also unlocks in one go rather than in two stages like some of the German stuff.

Hope you also bought yourself a lighter bike so you can keep up.  :P
