also, as i have mentioned in numerous threads (including the Hyundai ones), a "test drive" is often not indicative of "real-world" fuel economy...you are usually going to put the vehicle through various "tests" to see how it performs/responds... acceleration, braking, swerving (roadholding), corner-carving, etc...i suppose you could include driving the vehicle and setting the cruise on at 100 km/hr and make note of the RPMs and displayed fuel economy (reset when at speed to try and gather an accurate reading of "real-time" fuel economy), but that's what the EPA (or other ratings) are for.
