First off, I don't have any issues with the ES, and the new starting price is excellent.

What I want to know is how can anyone say this with a straight face about any car: “Every trip in the new ES delivers a moment of achievement – of personal satisfaction – that rewards the driver at every stage"? :rofl2:

Marketing, is there anything they can't turn into something uncomfortable if not downright embarassing? :nono: :stfu:
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

No. On this there is no ceiling. Doesn't always sell though so you do get reigned in. This is a good example...consumers can see BS. Where they can't web forums and other online/media sources will illuminate it.

What would you have them say?  It's really a Toyota.   :rofl2:

Every luxury car manufacturer comes out with similar if not even more outrageous fluff.  The current MB push at safety leaves the viewer thinking it is virtually impossible to be seriously injured in a Mercedes and that the car will make so many last second adjustments that a crash is impossible, even while sitting at an intersection.

Might be true. The driver may think: yes, blowing my boss did result in a promotion and some concrete material gains.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!
