ram incentives for '15 at the moment.... 8500 cash on the hood... 1500 for loyalty/conquest/skilled trade bonus (after tax).... 3.49% any term up to 96 months. discount.... varies, but anywhere from a grand to 5 i'd say depending on the particular package.

when something is new like the ford, they hope that someone is eager enough to be a first mover and be that first guy on the block that they will overpay... incentives will go up over the year. the trucks always used to be gm brothers, most expensive, then the ford, then ram (among big 3)... now there is a lot of overlap depending on purchase method and truck options....

the actual selling price is 68? wowza. i feel like their must be some discounts to apply there or something... i have a limited crew ecodiesel loaded up on our lot that the selling price is around 50. i find it hard to believe a comparable truck with the blue oval would be 18 grand more.

the xlt is like the ram sport right? it comes with a sporty cloth/leather mix on the interior... but we still have the upgrade to leather on the sport... then it is standard on trims above that (laramie, longhorn, limited)

XLT = SLT. There is a sport appearance package available on the XL, XLT, and Lariat that is visually similar to the Ram Sport.

when I seen the first pictures of the new F-150 and even at the auto show, when it came out..
I hated it.   But now I'm seeing more and more on the road and the non-chrome models look really good.

yep... i like it. not nearly the groundbreaker it is proposed to be, but nice just the same. i was the same about the shape... thought these fords and the gm's were too boxy and boring... now i think they look quite good.

Went to the dealer yesterday and drove an XLT Crew Sport with the 2.7 Ecoboost. I specifically wanted to try out the 2.7. My first impression was it feels light on it's feet and gobs of power though out the whole power band. Easy to see why most get higher than rated fuel consumption numbers. It would be hard to stay off the turbo as it kicks in quickly.

Overall I was impressed with the smaller Ecoboost. It would be a great daily driver that can haul/tow with confidence.
