It's one show the missus watches just for the drama of the story outside of the jargon.  She just looks at me when they're talking finance and all of a sudden I howl.

Oh, and Malin Akerman is hawt - not my usual type, but her portrayal of mama-bear-:censor: in a soccer-mom-suit is SPOT ON.

And you got to see her topless!   ;D

She looked so hot in her skin tight superhero outfit from The Watchmen!

Every time I see her, I am reminded of her role as FreakShow's wife in Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle:rofl2:  I dare not post a link, in case it has STDs.

This show has put itself in a tricky spot. Ultimately, it's about Axelrod vs. Rhoades. This likely means it's going to be a never-ending game of cat and mouse. So hopefully the showrunner and writers can figure out a way to keep that interesting because at this point it seems like it could get very repetitive.

writers can figure out a way to keep that interesting

1. More Maggie Siff nudity.
2. More Maggie Siff nudity.
3. More Maggie Siff nudity.

And then work on more interesting plot developments.

The Night Manager (based on John Le Carré's book), starring Dr. House and Loki.   :D

Watched the first two episodes last night and I love it.

Also watched the first episode of Preacher. No idea what is going on there. Didn't really hold my interest.

I've been watching a South Korean show called You Who Came from the Stars (aka My Love From Another Star).

It's a romantic comedy about an alien stranded on Earth hundreds of years ago. He has superhero-like powers but decides it's better to hide them than use them. He keeps to himself, changing identities ever decade or so (he doesn't age, you see), waiting for his spaceship to come pick him up.

A few months before he's expecting to leave Earth, he meets his next door neighbour, a super-obnoxious film star. Sparks fly, of course.

Jeon Ji-hyun, the actress playing the spoilt film star love interest, is just hilarious.

The story is pretty solid, with a creepy villain, a couple of TV detectives who actually detect, and various other supporting characters who keep the plot ticking along.

I couldn't find a trailer, but there are sub-titled episodes available here.

https://www.dramafever.com/drama/4325/1/My_Love_From_Another_Star/

(I assume this is a legit website, as they have ads if you don't subscribe to their streaming service. Amazing what you can find on the Internet these days.)

Does anyone on this forum watch Paranormal Witness? I stumbled across it a month or so back after my Daughter auditioned for a role in an upcoming episode. I find it quite good. It's a US show and into it's 5th season now.
