Nice article.  I have a soft spot for the General Lee as I had a push-pedal version as a kid.

What about the Charger from Burn Notice?! I loved that thing. Also Burn Notice rocks.

If you're ever in Oahu, the house is out near Kailua, and it's possible to swim out and see it - very shallow ocean there.

first couple(maybe 3) season was pretty entertaining.

gets too repetitive after.

that charger went thru some damages in the show, and kept showing back up!  liked that.  :rofl2:

Well, it's sort of interesting, but if we expanded this list to top 15, I'd start putting in stuff like the Truck from The Fall Guy instead.

1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe - #1  car used for the Mad Max movies, for me there is no other.

#2 would be the white Lotus Esprit 1986, I think, from the James Bond movie

then #3 General Lee :) :) :)

but it's not fair, there is just way too many cool cars used in movies, like the one in the Last Starfighter

Blue Chevy Stepside and gold Trans-Am from CHiPs, that Fall Guy truck you mentioned, the Kenworth (not a car, I admit) from PJ and the Bear, the Munster Mobile (no, I'm not that old but that thing is so glam-rod), Ralph Malph's hot-rof from Happy Days (I am THAT old), and the list goes on and on...

My top (almost) current star car is the Citroën DS from The Mentalist (before the Great GM Plug that is Season 8).

Best TV car memories: General Lee

Worst TV car of all times: the Clenet (or Excalibur?) from that lame detective show based in Texas (early '80s, can't remember...).

If we include fare from the BBC, then fire up the Quattro! Also, Inspector Morse's Jag - what a car that is.

That's actually on the list, if for no other reason than 50th anniversary of the Tiger.

Patrick McGoohan drove a Super 7 on The Prisoner (well, in the opening scene anyway). I'd never seen that car before and was blown away (as I was by the show itself.)

And I remember getting turned onto Jeeps because of Mork and Mindy. Was it a CJ-5 that Mindy drove?
