I rode gravel this summer as they were tearing up and resurfacing the side roads I normally bike on. I did not get nervous until I came across other cyclists who crashed and were all bloody. What freaked me out the most was the retards driving cars excessively fast spraying gravel, I'm sure they were doing it on purpose.  >:(

+1 When driving I slow down for other cars and really slow for people walking or biking. People are idiots. Up in the Collingwood area there is some ass that after passing bikes (on pavement) will drop his pickup into the stone shoulder to spray them. Its happens so fast you don't have time to get the plate number.

I'm looking forward to having cycling on TV again big time.

Its already started, two pro races going on right now. Steephill.TV is your source for all races.

Will give me a new number to work towards this year.

@ Snowman or anybody that uses VeloViewer....Looks like he is going to add this to the stats. See their FB page.

I read that the guy that just did it a couple of weeks ago said it was the hardest event he has every done. He now has the second fastest time.

I'll try to watch the last ten minutes or so to see how this guy does.

He is 11 seconds ahead of the scheduled 52.4 speed. Long way to go yet.
