I always wondered how these 'mobile wifi' cars would acquire the data; I guess the wifi usb stick makes sense but it's just an extra payment a month then. While you could tether with your smartphone, in Canada tethering rates can to be more expensive and you will be exceeding your monthly data cap after a lot of use especially if you connect 10 times/hours a week for commuters. Some carriers don't even enable tethering for your phone even if it can do it.

 I'll have to have this added to my new 7 series...sheesh...talk about overkill...Who orders this stuff anyway?  The top 1 percent, I guess..
