Bravo Jacob, great article as per usual. Takes a big man to admit their mistakes, glad you are relatively unscathed.
Lighten up Francis.....

I don't quite understand what you did.  a big twist of throttle, a vibration as the front shook it's head?    The video doesn't really give any indication.  too bad the guy in front of you didn't catch it on cam.

It ran out of grip and got a big head shake on the way out of the corner. Then it ran wide.
Simple answer: too much speed, not enough talent.

How much damage to the bike? That front end looks a bit iffy.

EVERY freakin' bike lapping day at calabogie this guy shows up.

It's lapping, they look like they are racing out there, then this guy shows up and shuts the copter down....

Glad you're OK mate.  Just take it easy for a while, you may still have concussion.

I am utterly unscathed.

Having banged my head pretty hard recently (http://www.autos.ca/forum/index.php?topic=79028.msg1206264#msg1206264) I have knowledge of this, ha ha!

It can be hard to diagnose, so just take it easy.
