I have more ethanol issues on the 2-stoke stuff (blower and trimmer in my case). Switched strictly to premium about 2 years ago and it's been better, but not perfect. My equipment is newer too (like <3 years old) and I've had deteriorated lines and gumming issues.

I have had no trouble with Ethanol fuel in any of my equipment (including my 2 stroke leaf blower and trimmer).  I think this is due to my constant use, and I drain the fuel after every season.  When I was first starting out, the carb would get gummed out all the time on my leaf blower, shop said that was because I was letting it run long enough.  Now I cut 2-4 on the same street with the mower, then the trimming, then the blowing (so it runs a few minutes that way).  No problems since...

For most houses, self propelled isn't really necessary, they are heavier.  And when you have obstacles, and have to back up it's a pain.  But I have at least 7, where it's a major benefit.  And since I plan on doubling next year, as I intend to hire extra help, it will be needed.

Yes. I did it on purpose...for reasons. I just didn't expect it to take this long to get the refund.

So many people thing a lawn mower is a lawn mower.  Nope! Deck adjustment is mandatory for me, mulch capability, and a good engine (Briggs & Stratton, Honda to name a couple).  This one is not self propelled like my Toro, but it will do fine for now.  Next year will get a self propelled when I see one I like, and this will serve as a backup, and for small lawns.
Let's gets some Amsoil in that thing!
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Next season we can do that for both.  As the season is winding down, only 6 weeks left!

Probably closer to 10 weeks left, and will cut more in Sept and Oct than the summer
I think I cut the lawn once in July and once in August,

Was working with my neighbor/friend/boss at a clients house for a few hours on Wednesday (attic job and it was 30C outside)  He came by yesterday, paid me twice what he usually pays me.  Says this past summer, he really appreciates my help, how reliable I am, and efficient.  I was kinda blown away, as he is the strong silent type.  Usually just thanks, here is your money, talk to you soon.

On top of that, he saw my seized mower in the garage.  Asked about it, if I tried working on it.  Told him I wasn't having much luck.  I was with the kids, on the way to the park.  Come back, and he is cutting my front grass with the mower he just fixed!

So that saved me from buying another mower.  What a good week.
