You can lease an SV for about 375/month for three years at 0.9%. That's why people buy Maximas. :)

Yeah, that's a great deal.

They've banned so many technologies at this point, it's essentially a spec series.

You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.

I guess the Caliber CVT I tried totally ruined CVTs cars for me, forever.

I didn't think of that. I suppose a Nissan dealer can sell an Infiniti car and service it too. We should ask Artic.

NO.  Wouldn't be a problem changing the oil, etc., but zero warranty work.

Not true at all, had a front sensor on mine replaced under warranty at my local Nissan dealership.

Why someone would buy ThiS over the beautiful Q50 is beyond me. Unless you are a rental shop.

The only reasons might be if a buyer only looks at price (Maxima may be discounted or a used bargain?) and economy. The Q50 is pretty heavy on gas at least based on the printed numbers.

$100 a year difference according to this. $5k difference in starting price (US) is why they still sell them.

Maxima wins in looks for me.........

Evidently he thinks you are mistaken or lying. Seems reasonable, as lots of people lie about warranty work.  :)

He's free to call Saint John Nissan and ask if there was warranty work done on a white Q50S about 3 three weeks ago.   ;)

Maybe it's different for you folks in an area with a variety of Infiniti dealerships.  But I'm on my 5th Infiniti vehicle since 2004 and have needed three warranty visits during that time frame.........and ALL of them have been completed at my local Nissan dealership in Saint John.

Thoe closest dealer to us is 450km away and in another Province, so that could be the difference.

It's wrong to poo-poo CVTs as not sporty - they were banned from F1 for their performance advantage long before they were added to Sentras and Versas.

Still the Maxima is not a 4DSC, visibility is too bad, too much understeer, too heavy. It's more fun than most mid-large sedans, though.

I don't think I've ever seen rear door windows that small on a sedan before.

same here...my 800m away Nissan dealer can't do warranty work on any Infiniti. The Infiniti dealer, well...it's a 35min drive, so no thanks.

Kudos to Nissan that continue to experiment with three things in this car: the big size, front wheel drive and CVT! Being with BRUTAL torque steer as one poster mentioned, is the worst result of all these...Well, cannibalizing Altima's sales is an extra on top of all.
