To be honest, JRM raises a valid point.  As a global society we really should be doing everything we can to curb emissions.

To be honest again, be fully deserved the replies given his dickish tone.

I have always liked vehicles that do one thing really well at the expense of others .  They always seem to stand out in a sea of cars that are trying to be something for everyone.  The MB G is definitely among the former.

I see so many of these things driving around in their native military garb that I snicker on the rare occaisions that I see one all gussied up in street clothes.  They really do look goofy by comparison. 

I put this thing in the same poseur league as the hummer.  Give me a 4-Runner over either ANY day!

They build them, I guess they just don't think there's a market for them here. I could see them sold alongside Sprinters for commercial applications though.

This is the G350d Professional, about $12k cheaper than the normal G350d in Europe:
