Really, doesn't look like an A3 to me..?

This would be the Audi of my lottery dreams, 597 hp....

Traveling for work in California last week, followed a matte grey RS7 over a mountain pass.    Fremont dealer plates.  Sounded amazing.

Looked like this, but with nicer thin-spoke rims.

While that thing is drop dead sexy there is that one angle of the S7 that is seen in pretty well activates gag reflex. For me it would have to be the 6 or 6 Avant.

Ferrari GTO. The original one.

This video/commercial by Petrolicious just made me salivate and squirm in my seat...and I am not even a huge Ferrari fan.

Wow.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

I love the 288 GTO more than anything new they have built in a long time.

With the Audis seen above, there's a lot to like about them. I loved the RS3 hatch I sat in at the Autostadt last year.

But they always feel a bit.....sterile. I've said that before, I know. The interiors are beautiful, the designs age well, but there's no passion, no feeling, no expressiveness.

Plus, I prefer rear-wheel drive anyway.

I don't know why but a mid-90s Impala SS!  Saw a really tidy one in the parking lot the other day and just had to go and have a look.  Something about it just looks right!

On a more sensible level, a second-gen Cadillac CTS in black naturally with cream interior.

Depends on the year.  2011 year and down are absolute junk.  Make it a 2012 at the very least.  Still a waste of money.  Wait for a 2014 and above.  Different car after 2013 model year.

I'm tempted.  2009 Hyundai Sonata 4dr Sdn Limited

I had one as a rental for a month when Forester #1 got totaled.  Stick with your Mazda 3.

Oh?  How so?  I have read about issues with first gen CTSs but was under the impression that the 2nd gens were pretty solid.  I have a taste for European "luxury" cars but no dealership back up in my area and my friend tells me that parts are eyewateringly expensive, so I'm better off sticking with domestic.  That pretty much limits me to a CTS or a Chrysler 300 if I want a luxury RWD/AWD sedan.  I have been looking mostly at 2011s with the 3 litre V6, which seem pretty good value.  The 300 is a little old ladyish unless you go for a more recent S but they're in a completely different ballpark moneywise, as is the 3rd gen CTS.  What are the potential issues with 2nd gen CTSs and are parts regular GM prices or premium because Cadillac?

I prefer the 2nd gen CTS over the 3rd gen.  Only real changes in 2012 is the new V6, and some grill changes with the new logo.

And to say it's a waste of money is rude.  Sedan, coupe, wagon, available supercharged V8.

The 3rd gen also is selling much worse than the 2nd gen.
