And the big news is?

Noront bought all of Cliffs ROF assets for $20M to become the only player in the region. My shares did rather well today  :)

I'm glad mine bounced back nicely too, should have bought more when they were on sale a few weeks ago.

Just wait until they receive the mining permit  :)

The 20 million was all leveraged.  Really don't see how you can transport ore by helicopters and make a profit.

Take your new found wealth ppl and celebrate.

You have 40 minutes till market close.

You would have to understand mineral economics to see, perhaps it was a move to thwart off any takeover attempts  :) There are many factors involved and its very complicated with ALL the parties involved.

Well let's hear it.  :)

My understanding is Franco Nevada, market cap of 10 BILLION, (P/E ratio of 325:1  :fall:) have splurged 20 MILLION to secure a royal stream 10 years from now, maybe.

Still when a non performing stock increases 36% in one day I'd be so out of it.

One day, think five years. That is when the money will be made. This is perhaps the best buying opportunity in the resource sector ever. Its the facking sh!ts right now.

I'm thinking that if I was holding a NON PERFORMING stock that went up 36% in ONE day, I'd SELL IT!

And the Senators are on an incredible run and are now in a playoff spot.

Good customer service also makes me happy.  Two months ago I ordered a headphone cable from Monoprice.  It recently began cutting out in one ear.  I sent them an e-mail letting them know this happened and they immediately got back to me saying another will be on its way and there is no need to return the broken one.  Colour me impressed.

^ Customer service

This is very trivial, but I needed a new mouse at home, and being a World of Tanks guy, I ordered WoT Razer Deathadder mouse, which came with a code for a relatively rare tank.
I received the mouse and noticed that the code had an expiry date of Dec 31, 2014. :censor:.

I sent in a service ticket to WarGaming, but never really expected to hear back. A week passed, and I received an email from them letting me know that my Pz IV Hydrostat had been added to my garage. Nice, and for a gaming company, pretty unexpected.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

It's a tier 5. It uses the same gun and turret as the Pz III/IV, but it's slower, and has worse armour. I'll use it as a crew trainer.

I kind of like the weirdo tanks (go figure ;D). I picked up the BT-SV at Christmas.

Staying warm indoors on a very cold night, watching a righteous documentary about Queen on HiFi after a long, hard week.  Fabulous.
