Probably government of Canada red plates.  Diplomat employee
Especially as there is no such animal as a NA legal Renault Megane.

...there's "almost" one - the previous-gen Nissan Sentra, heavily based on the Renault Megane Berline

I knew the GLA wasn't no SUV/CUV or whatever the MB is calling it...

it's shorter/lower than my VW...

Not on the way to work, but while out walking the dog on the trail by my house yesterday we come to an area that runs parallel to the road when I hear what sounds like a well massaged small block V8 getting some excercise and coming our way.  I expect to see a 60/70's era muscle car pass us by, but it was a 2nd gen (?) Audi A8 that was otherwise stock by the looks of it anyway.  It sounded great, but certainly not what I expected and kind of a paradox coming from one of the most conservative looking of all the big luxo-mobiles.  Sleeeeeper!  :)

I'd have to walk home or wait for everybody else to leave as I would have forgotten where I parked my bike.

Now you know what it feels like when I try to find my car at the Charlotte airport car park. In a sea of SUVs, pickups, and minivans, it's impossible to find a normal sized hatchback. "At what letter was my car parked........?"

A beautiful black RS4 outside the Local RBC insurance office...nearly beautiful anyway. Spacers that brough the wheel out to the fenders and lowered such that the tires would hit with any sort of turning ( front) or hard accel (back).  Maybe it had air suspension to lift it up when it was rolling.

More interesting was the front numberplate..     I wish Ont would do this as an option OR just get rid of front plates.   The plate number does match the regular Ont rear plate.
This was not a cropped or painted regular plate, it looked like the stick on ones that were quasi legal in the Uk back then ( My Lotus had one on the front)

2nd thought. I presume it was a real RS4?   All the windows were (illegally) tinted so dark that I could not see inside.

That photo was just to illustrate the front plate.   It was so bright outside that I had to aim the phone by guesswork.  I could have taken photos of the rest of the car  but didn't see why I should bother.
