Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
gorgeous car! Wish we could get them here...would have mine as a black QV...
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

I love those old C3 Vette's....Horrible cars really; they ride like trucks, their not particularly fast, and the interiors fall apart at a pretty alarming rate....But the racked back seating position, airplane style gauges on the console and the fact that they look like sex on wheels (well, dirty you really shouldn't do it sex...but sex none the less) make them a winner in my books.
I really miss the `73 roadster I had... :(

mid-1970s Lincoln Town Car

I've been watching The Rockford Files on DVD lately and the bad guys always seem to be driving these (no wonder Rockford always outdrives 'em).

Still there's something properly majestic about these old Lincolns.  I like 'em.

I remember those and the MK IV.  For myself I would like an Eldo 'vert light blue over white leather with the (IIRC) 500 cu in 4 barrel engine.   The absolute ultimate pimp mobile...just to drive slowly around on summer weekends.

Oh yeah...those Town Cars were definitely HUGE.  Plenty of room for dead bodies in the trunk.

Speaking of HUGE cars I saw a fabulous 1965 Chrysler Imperial convertible at the Merrickville car show today, in the same colour as the one in the photo below.  The body panels on it were laser straight.  And vast.  I likened the car to an aircraft carrier.

Still, it was totally cool.  Kato and the Green Hornet probably drove one during their vacations.  :pimp:

a properly quick and good looking Merc there. Love the old styling, it had something that the newbies just fail to capture...

Not obsessing over it, but I had forgotten these G vert's exist.
Do like the look of it, but pretty portly (400+ pounds heavier than the coupe !!) although the reviews i've read say it handles pretty well (with the Sport pkg).  And I love the VQ.
All but impossible to find with a manual, but worthy of a test drive.

I never understood the love for the VQ...every noise it makes seems to rub me the wrong way. It sure has power, but doesnt sound good going about its business, and it is not for lack of volume either...

But I do respect its reliability and its power delivery!

i think VQs get the love for the flexibility of power and supposed reliability.   personally i like the sound it emits.  but not the power.  VQ in anything heavier than G sedans/coupes feel anemic..

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

the more I read about this car, the more I want it in my garage next to the Alfa.

20v 5cyl turbo with 220hp, but nobody keeps it at that for long. Such a fantastic sound, like the tuned Volvos...

Drove like a demon when I took it out, man this thing is properly quick...

dont know how to attach photos...

Ive driven a few 350Z....the ones with stock intake and exhaust...yeah, about as soul stirring as a electric lawnmover. I drove one that had a CAI, different intake, cams, full exhaust and a good tune.....holy mother, that sounded amazing and went like stink. My Altima didnt inspire much till I stuck in a Nismo cat back system.

Found an 1 hour last night, and was able to vacuum the Mazda5, been trying to do it for a month.  Kinda what happens when you work opposite shifts as your wife, then taking care of the baby, then family visits, taking care of the house, you know how it is..  Hopefully I can find another 1 hour tonight, to clean the leather and plastics.  Next month maybe the exterior....
