in the article, James mentions:
although it isn’t priced that much less than its larger brother.
i said upthread, it is when comparably equipped.
a Colorado Z71 Crew Cab with NAV and Bose sound is $38,661 (includes a credit of $664)...a comparably equipped Silverado would be the Silverado LT 2LT Crew Cab, with leather seats, True North package, V8 engine and NAV/Bose...the Silverado is $45,680 (includes a credit of $6385)...as i said before, i like the Silverado, but the difference in price is $7020, or just under $8k with tax...and that is ONLY because there is $6385 on the hood of the Silverado right now...perhaps in a few months, the credits on the Colorado will increase, which would widen the gap further...in any case, $8k is not "almost the same price" and i do wish the comparisons with full size trucks would stop...compare the Colorado with the Frontier and Tacoma, as that is what it was made to compete against (perhaps even the Ridgeline a little).
