Who’s Car Care Shoppe?Car Care Shoppe is a division of Upper Class Detailing the most reviewed - perfect 5/5 stars - auto detailing center in Ottawa. Our detailing side of business has been successful due to both the quality of our work not quantity and responsive customer service. With the Car Care Shoppe the approach will be the same, sell quality products and show great customer service.
We are a distributor for a number of well known companies; we buy in bulk so we can pass savings on to a consumer and/or offer a “FREE BONUS” item with your purchase.
The items we sell get tested extensively by us at Upper Class Detailing on a variety of surfaces before being sold to the public. We use K.I.S.S. (keep it simple Simon) principal when it comes to the number of items being offered. We want a regular Joe to buy a detailing item without pulling his hair out by the overwhelmed amount of detailing items that perform pretty much the same. (This principle doesn’t apply to compounds and polishing pads).
I can also proudly say that we have one of the biggest selection of microfiber towels in Canada. We’ve gone through a number of different towels from different vendors over the year and a half; and chose the best performing towels. Again, going back to K.I.S.S. principal, we don’t sell five different, say 380 GMS towels. We chose one - the best performing - 380 GSM towel out of a bunch. (Aside: there’s no color coding with microfiber towels).
In short, to make things less stressful for a regular consumer, we offer, 200, 300, 350, 360, 400, 460, 530, & 600 GSM towels. I doubt we’ll be offering towels greater than 600 GSM as they tend to lint like crazy and very absorbent (based on our experience and testing).
Forget old technology We will be adding more items in the future but I can tell you this now. We are not going to carry polymer paint sealants, Carnauba waxes or glazes. We should all move on and leave the old technology behind us. If you use waxes purely for therapeutic reasons, then you can use Optimum Opti-Seal (however, Opti-Seal has no scent).
Xpel Ultimate clear bra/PPF pre-cut kitsIn addition to detailing products, we also offer pre-cut clear bra kits. We use Xpel’s DAP cutting software to cut Xpel Ultimate self-healing clear film. We cut the kits in-house using our 72” GCC plotter.
Paint protection film (PPF) is growing rapidly across North America due to its affordability and precise kit fitment. If you are a DIYer you can protect high impact areas such as, headlights/fogs, door cups, luggage area, rear wheel impact area, door sills, etc. yourself.
