We had a Chrysler E-Class as a family car during my early driving years, and got Reliants as service loaners (the later revisions with the 2.5 and "aerodynamic" nose
).
For all the bad rap the Ks got, you can't beat a box on wheels for room. They sat 6, got great mileage, offered great visibility (the from-the-inside kind), had a decent trunk and where cheap to fix. Fairly comfy too. Performance-wise, well they were on par with early-'80s anemic stuff, and they were pretty good in the snow.
I'd rather have a K-car than a Tempaz or Corsicapest!
