Someone says they are coming from Toronto tomorrow to buy my 22" Cayenne wheels.
I wonder if they'll lowball me even though I sent pretty detailed photos and I think I'm asking a reasonable amount?

$1400

Best of luck!

How much for the wreck in the background?   ;D

Didn't call this morning, didn't show up.  Looking like the wheel deal fell through.

Went to the local Honda dealership to get a drain plug and washer for the Odyssey, it was $10.  Noticed in the service department, full synthetic oil change $59.95 plus tax (includes filter).  I asked the service department to show me the bottle, says 0w-20 full synthetic, $8.50 a quart.  But since they have it in bulk, its about the same to have them do it.  Checked at the local Mazda dealer.  $62.95 for the same thing.  So my mechanic that has serviced my cars for almost everything, charges $29.95 plus tax with conventional oil.  But when I took the Mazda6, that asks for synthetic (Mobil1 they used) it was like $120 plus tax.  So I may just have the dealer do it I guess...

Also made an appointment to take care of a year old recall.  I forgot about it.  Replacing fuel pump cover.  Waiting for parts...

Nothing more annoying than people who don't show. Well, only more annoying is when they show up and say something like "I only have $xxx on me is that okay?"

"I'll wait here while you go to the bank, fukface"

Exact same thing happened when I sold my 135i winters.  In the end he followed me to the closest ATM.  Donkey.

People are amazed that we grow romaine lettuce on our window sill in nothing more than a half filled glass of water.  Take 2-3" nub from used romaine lettuce.  Put in glass of water.  Fill half way up the nub.  Presto.  Romaine that keeps growing.  Trim off as needed.  We have several on the go at any given time.  Here's one with only 2 weeks growth.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

This weekend was sh!t here for me.  Yesterday was one year ago that my Dad passed away and it was pretty rough.  Took a couple of beers and a cigar out to his gravesite and spent a couple of hours just talking to him.  Hard to believe it's been a year already.  :(

And then today, had to dump $1k worth of beer down the drain.  The money doesn't matter, but it's beer that I was hoping to stock up a few accounts before Canada Day.....and now they won't have any.   >:(    Hoping this will be a better week.

That's a drag, but the important thing is to have the beer graveside.

I visit my parents' grave very year, and have a glass of Seagrams VO, my mothers favorite.  It's just a way of saying hello.

Word to the wise:  http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2015/06/30/beware-that-metal-barbecue-brush.html

:o. That would be nasty!  I always wipe down the grill after I use the brush, but definitely something to look out for.

That's the saddest thing I've read all day....

It just seems a lot of effort for no real gains to me. I also find it REALLY ironically funny the most redneck guys I know who consider cooking as "women's work" see BBQing as "manly" when it's still cooking. WTF?  :rofl2:

Between the bugs, heat, humidity and all the crap involved to get propane etc, it is really just a HUGE PITA! And I hardly have anything to "prove" as far as my manhood. The truth is, I really don't get how burning stuff up outside makes one "manly". "OH LOOK AT MEEEEE NEIGHBOURS!! I'M MACHO MAN BBQING!!! WHOOOOO!" lol.

Zero to do with manly.  More to do with taste.  NOTHING compares to a perfectly grilled piece of meat.  Nothing.

Up here in Redneck country it seems to be completely based on their so-called "manhood". lol. (Along with roaring about on their 4 wheelers on the sidewalks helmetless while as pi$$ drunk as they can possibly get.)  :rofl2:

And yeah but I got friends who can do it MUCH better than me so no reason to bother. One friend does "Argentinian BBQ", no gas, kind of purist and flavour to die for. I just invite them up and BINGO! Heh. I figure I can do a mean steak in the kitchen but have no intention burning one to a crisp attempting to learn to BBQ to prove some point.

Interesting. Might have to try those. We barbecue every second meal, I like it because it is easy and tastes great.

Open up lid, start barbecue, let heat up, throw on meat and vegetables, turn down heat as far as it will go, shut lid.

That's about it, other than flipping stuff over.

As a nice bonus, meat/chicken is juicier.  I brought them to a CTC get together, and everyone from the forum preferred the burgers cooked on the Grill Grates.

Hmmm.

Just get direct from their site, an inch around shorter than the grill surface? Any need for the special forked spatula, etc?

One thing I've been finding useful is the shorter one of these:
