What is that white stuff that is sprayed on concrete roads...
« on: October 27, 2016, 06:26:29 pm »
and on concrete crash barriers.   I was entering the 407 from 401 Monday, a windy day, and some guy was spraying it on concrete barrier section. It blew onto my ( white )   but it also go on the windscreen. Not such that I could not see.  The wipers and wshers did not shift it. When I got home I used Invisible glass and a terry cloth towel.   Got rid of most of it with much rubbing.   Is there a way, short of a clay bar to get it off the paint.

Occasionally, I come across the line painting trucks doing the yellow paint and if the wind is blowing the wrong way I will turn around.  I can tell that yellow paint does not rub off no matter what solvent you try.

Lacquer thinner works for this.

Don't think I tried that  ???    ::)    After it's dried nothing works except a sander.  :P

Clay bar...best way to do it! I clay bar my vehicles once a year, it's amazing the difference it makes.
