And void the warranty on a lease? Probably not going to happen, haha.

  Congrats!  Looking forward to pictures.

The only thing missing is the not-yet-available performance package.

What will the performance package include?
Don't fight it.  The sooner you get it the better.

Congrats on the the GTI. Great choice and great colour...although I do have a soft spot for the plaid cloth.

Also, with dogs, the less cloth the better, haha.

VW makes a nice pet/cargo barrier for the hatch. The dogs ride in the back (safer for everyone) and the seats stay clean - it's a win-win.

And congrats on the car! I had to wait three months when I ordered mine, so two weeks is nothing! :stick:

Looking forward to the pics!

What will the performance package include?

A 10HP bump in output, but most importantly a limited slip diff. Maybe something else, too, but I can't remember. Would be tough not to wait for that performance package, just because LSD.  :-\

Also summer performance tires, bigger brakes, and a revised suspension. Was tempting but I believe it's going to be another $2400 or so - not a bad deal but a bit more than I wanted to spend. Also didn't know if the residual and interest rate would be different for that model.

If I was going to wait I'd almost rather just wait for the '16 which supposedly gets the 8" display and (hopefully) Apple CarPlay support.

Was your saleswoman Shelby?

I went shopping with a friend at Fredericton VW earlier this year. He ended up buying a privately used 2010 GTi... it's a very nice car

Congrats, that's an awesome car! I test drove one and was considering buying it. I would have optioned it out exactly like you did. Looking forward to the show and shine.
I love it when a plan comes together.
